Briana Coakley serves as the Manager of the Georgia Visitor Information Center in St. Marys. Her career at the visitor center began in November 2016 as an Information Specialist, which later led to a promotion to Manager in November 2018. Briana has been learning as much as possible about the tourism industry within the state of Georgia. This has been cultivated by her incredible partners in Georgia Tourism affording her opportunities to explore various corners of the state and be better able to speak on these locales with others. Her primary goal is to assist travelers and help them learn more about things to do in Georgia, such as attractions, tours, parks and historic sites, and various activities that will promote spending more leisure time in Georgia.
Briana graduated from Valdosta State University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is currently completing a Master’s degree with Capella University while working full time in this position. When Briana is not working, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her friends and family. She is an avid reader and enjoys quilting when time permits. Her favorite place to visit in Georgia are the North Georgia Mountains.
