Brittney serves as the Director of Visitor Services for the tourism division at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, where she oversees the 11 State Visitor Information Centers. Welcoming 13 million visitors annually, the VICs function as an extension of the warmth and hospitality of Georgians to visitors by providing them with information and services designed to promote travel spending in our State.


Brittney joined GDEcD in 2005 as Tourism Project Manager for the Atlanta Metro Region.  She began her career in the tourism industry with the Cobb County Convention & Visitors Bureau, where she was the Tourism Sales Manager.  Later, she became the Southeast Sales Manager for Group Tour Magazine.


She is a Vidalia, Georgia native and holds a degree in Public Relations from Georgia Southern University.  She is a certified Tourism Marketing Professional (TMP), and is affiliated with several destination marketing organizations, including The Southeast Travel Counselors Alliance, Travel South USA and Southeast Tourism Society.
