Kyle Bennett was born and raised in Cherokee County, Georgia. He grew up on a farm that has been in his family since the 1840s.
Kyle graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Political Science from Young Harris College in 2003 and graduated with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government from Berry College in 2005.
In September 2006, Kyle was hired by the Woodstock Downtown Development Authority & Woodstock Convention & Visitors Bureau to the position of Programs Manager. In 2007 he was promoted to Tourism Manager for the Woodstock DDA & Woodstock CVB. This position oversees the major components of tourism policy for the organization.
Kyle is currently the Immediate Past President for the Cherokee County Historical Society, the Vice President for the Historic High Country Travel Association, and is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce.
In his free time Kyle reviews books & movies on YouTube, is a huge fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta United, and is constantly adding to his book collection. Also, if you didn’t blink at the wrong time you might of seen Kyle’s appearance on screen as an extra in the Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 and on an episode of the TV show Valor.
